Come and join Pendale as we celebrate the coming of Spring by
invoking the frivolities of Loki!  This
will be a fun filled days of games, classes, dancing,
feasting and fun! 

  There will be games for all ages, mischief of all
kinds, and general merry making.  We will be
having a “Best flock” contest to see who has accumluated the
most impressive flock of “sheep” over the winter.  Our
Bardic competition will be held, the category being the “Best
Sheep filk”.  Practice your period games skills and see
if you can be named Pendale’s Games Champion.

  We will be having a Pas de Faux A&S competition in
the spirit of mischief making.  For those who have never
entered a Pas de Faux, the idea is to take a modern SCA item,
and then produce documentation proving the item is
“period”.  It’s a lot of fun and good practice for
writing documentation.

There will be a hands-on class on egg dying using period
dyestuffs for adults, and mundane egg coloring for the wee
ones.  For ages12 and under, there will be an egg hunt.

There is plenty of room outside for heavy fighting and
fencing.

  There will be a potluck feast with the shire providing
pork roast, bread and butter.  Please bring
a side dish or dessert.

  Directions: From North- Make your best route to
Sandpoint. Pass through Sandpoint on Hwy 95/ 5th Ave. Turn
right on Hwy 2 / Pine St. Go 1 ½ blocks then veer left
to stay on Hwy 2. Go 1 ½ blocks to Lake St. Turn right
on Lake St. and go 2 blocks to the site. From South Follow
Hwy 95/ First Ave through Sandpoint. Follow Hwy 95 around the
left hand corner where it turns into Hwy 95/ Cedar St. Stay
in the left hand lane and turn left on Hwy 95/ 5th Ave.
Follow Directions above from there. From West follow Hwy 2 to
Sandpoint, turn hard left on lake Ave. follow to site.
