Why has summer come upon us?  For the Seagirt Summer Tourney!  Participate and lay witness to the new Champions of Seagirt!

Heavy: Valhalla format.
3 – 40 min rounds(max). Random pick for first two combatants. Winner must successfully defeat all other combatants in a row with out a loss. In the event of no one combatant successfully defeating all comers, the combatant with the most victories in the round moves to the finals.
Double kills count as a loss for each fighter.
 
Finals. If two combatants. Best two out of three.
           If Three combatants. Maintain Valhalla format. 25 min Round(max). Random pick for first two combatants. Winner must successfully defeat all other combatants in a row with out a loss. In the event of no one combatant successfully defeating all comers, the combatant with the most victories will be declared the winner.

Archery: an elimimination tournament with a siege archery theme.

Rapier: Bear pit tourney (yes, all the steel you can eat). Top two scorers fight best 2 of 3.

Arts & Sciences:

a. An Artistic form with supporting documentation

b. A Technological form with supporting documentation

c. Choice of one of the following (preference given to

   documentation but not required)

   i. A bardic presentation

   ii. Onsite favour making (Barony to supply materials in

       kit form)

Youth activities to be announced at event

Gate Fees: (not including NMS surcharge)

Weekend/Day

Adult (19+) $15/8
Youth (13-18) $10/5
Children (12-under) free

Cabins:
Adult $25 per person for adults, $15 per person for youths 13-18; 12 and under are free.

Non-member surcharge ($4/3) applies for adults. Make cheques payable to the Barony of Seagirt.

Please have all minor waivers and consent forms filled out ahead for all underage children. Forms at http://www.antir.sca.org/Pubs/forms/.
Underage children coming without their parents must have a form signed by their parents designating an accompanying adult as their guardian for the event. Anyone without the proper paperwork will not be allowed on site.

Site rules:
– No pets allowed. This is a site rule and will be inforced. The Camp Ranger WILL be monitoring.
Merchants
All merchants are welcome! No added merchanting fees!

Site opens 4:00 PM Friday, closes 3:00 PM Sunday.

Directions : The site is the Scouts Canada Camp Barnard in Sooke BC 40 km (25 mi) west
of Victoria BC. Canada.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED (with the exception of Handicapped-assist animals)
The site is DAMP. Showers, flush toilets, and potable water on site. Garbage Dumpster on
site at the park gate.
Fire regulations subject to Weather Conditions.

Tiki torches are allowed, but must be carefully monitered, Candles MUST be in a CONTAINER of some kind, ie glass jar, Smoking buts must be put in an ashtray or some such unit, not on the ground please…and we are allowed a bardic fire of no more then three feet in diameter and height…
