We would like to invite one and all to our Birthday
Celebration , the 25Th anniversary of this Shire, here
in Bitter End. Our Silver Arrow tourney is well known.
The Archery tournament will begin at 10:00am and will
then be followed by heavy and rapier tourneys. What
to shoot or fight for? A return to the tradition of
the 1oz of silver for the prizes.
As well, one of our most famous feasts is
planned.. The feastocrats, my parents, have returned,
so for those that have missed the wonderful food that
they put on, join us once again. You do not want to
miss it. Pre registration for the feast is mandatory,
information required, name (mundane and SCA),
membership number, exp date, to be considered as
reserved for all reservations.
The Site is Shady Nook Community Hall, and
will open at 12:00 noon on the Friday April 20Th and
will close Sunday April 22ND 12:00 noon. There is no
street address ,but directions are as follows:
From QE2 at Red Deer, head west onto HWY. 11 (not
11A) about 1 km to first set of lights. Turn left onto
secondary Hwy. 596 and travel approx. 6km. Turn left
onto Rg 283 and travel until you reach Armitage Feed
lot turn right & travel for half a km. Hall is on
your right hand side. Signs will be posted. {SCA
signs}
Site fee is as follows Feast and Site-
Members $20.00 Nonmembers – $24.00 . Day fee- Members
-$10.00 and Nonmembers $14.00. Make Cheque payable to
the ASCA Shire of Bitter End.

Please remember that to get the Schnitzel you must
pre-register with the autocrat. If you come to the
door the day of the event and try to purchase a ticket
and you get one you may eat but you will not get a
piece of Schnitzel, so in saying that, you do not want
to miss out on this meal.

Tossed Green Salad- {Different types of dressing will

MAIN COURSE:

Schnitzel – {Breaded pork cutlet fried till golden
crispy then smothered with our secret red sauce topped
with mozza and cheddar cheese then placed in the oven
till baked and ready to serve.}

Noodles- {With your choice of Alfredo or Red sauce.}
