Borealis Yule Feast

In traditions of old come and join the Barony of Borealis in celebrating the season. Share with us fine food, dancing, music and most of all the pleasure of friends, both old and new.

Date: December 9, 2006 at the Canadian Hungarian Cultural Society of Edmonton 12847-68 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Time: site opens at 12: 01 p.m. And closes at 12:30 a.m.
Price: Site fees $6.00 feast $10.00 please be advised that there is a 4.00 non-member surcharge.
Children 6 to 12 years of age $5.00 for feast, 6 and under free.
Make cheques payable to ASCA Barony of Borealis.
Feast will start at 6 p.m.

Many times in the past we have shared in the giving of gifts and while this is a fine tradition this year we’d like to change it a bit. Instead of a gift we ask that you give to the food bank. If you’d have bought a gift, take that money and buy food or a toy for those in our fine Barony that are less fortunate then we are. There will be boxes at the Troll for donations and you can feel good knowing many more will be fed because of your generosity.

We’d also like to continue the tradition that Mistress Joan started of giving a prize to the best-dressed table. So shake out those linen tablecloths for she will be judging who has the best Yule table.

There will be a games tournament hosted by John Fawkes and Jean de Chauliac, starting at 2 p.m. those wanting to take part may register at the hall or contact John at toxophile_edm @ yahoo. ca
The Borealis Culinary Group will be hosting a sugar-paste sculpturing competition in the afternoon; those wishing to participate may contact Lady Ann Fawkes for further information at sjmckit @ telus.net
