Winter Investiture 2006 Principality of Tir Righ Winter
Investiture November 17-19, 2006 Shire of Lionsdale,
Chilliwack, BC Their Highnesses of Tir Righ, Prince Kheron
Azov and Princess Ksenia Einarsdottir do hereby invite Their
loyal subjects to Their hunting lodge in the mountains of
Lionsdale to witness the Investiture of Their successors,
Tanist Ulfgar Thorvaldsson and ban-Tanist Renee de Josselin.
Rapier fighters will compete for the title of Scar of Tir
Righ. The Arts and Sciences competition will reveal the next
Scholar of Tir Righ. Gather by the fire in the Great Hall on
Saturday evening for a Habsburg Harvest feast, dancing and
entertainments. Head Chef Kenzie MacBeighn and the good
gentles of Holly House will provide the feast at $10 per
person. Seating will be limited to 100 gentles.

Site fees: Adult Member $15,Youths 13-18 $7.50, 12 and under
Free, Family cap $45. NMS is in effect for this event. Non
member adults add $4.No pre-registration. Gate opens at 7pm
Friday evening, Site closes at 5pm Sunday. The SCA has been
given a very good rate at the Comfort Inn, $74 for a double
room (regular $110). Over a dozen rooms have already been
booked. As of Oct. 27th, there are about 10 rooms still
available at the SCA rate, but reservations must be made by
November 4th.604-858-0636 Camping and RVs without hookups are
free on site. Please park vehicles in the parking lot after
unloading gear. Wood fires are allowed. Dry wood is available
by the back door of the hall. Chilliwack River Campground,
604-858-4443, a few km east, is $22 night for RVs
w/elec/water. Outdoor merchant space is available, but be
prepared for rainy, cool weather! For crash space contact the

Rapier Tourney 3pm: Closing Court Day food will be available
in the hall by Adela the Sugar Fairy. She will be serving
soup, sandwiches, bakings and beverages. She will also manage
the non-alcoholic bar in the evening. A cafe and convenience
store are located near by. Site Rules: -The creek and rifle
range are off limits. Supervise children at all times. -NO
dogs (or other pets) are allowed inside the hall. Dogs are
allowed outside on the campgrounds – please use a leash at
all times and clean up after your pet. – Smoking is allowed
by the BBQ pit. Please use receptacles. -The Fish and Game
Club is a DRY site and there may be RCMP presence on
Chilliwack River Road. Please don’t plan ‘discretely wet’
parties on site. We have to be mindful of the SCA’s
reputation as well as each of us as an individual.
