Announcing the Barony of Wealdsmere’s Champion’s Tournament and Newcomer’s encampment. All are welcome to join us and participate in our many Championship Tournaments, classes and demonstrations. There will also be games and activities for those who don’t wish to compete.

The site opens 4:00 PM Friday – Close 4:00 PM Sunday.
Site Fees:
$7 per adult member
$10 per adult non-member (includes non-member surcharge)
$5 for children 12 and under
free for children 5 and under.

Directions:
From East; take I90 West to exit 277 to US 2. Go West to Davenport. The fairgrounds are on the West end of Davenport.
From West; take I90 East. Take exit 206 onto WA-21. Turn right onto WA-28. Continue to follow WA-28 about 37 mi. Turn left onto Morgan Street / US – 2 and continue to the West end of town.

This is an official event of the Barony of Wealdsmere, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit organization dedicated to researching and recreating the customs, courtesy, and chivalry of the Middle Ages prior to 1600 AD.
This event is a weekend camping activity open to anyone interested in learning about and recreating life in the middle ages. There will be classes and demonstrations for new comers to the SCA and fun for all ages. This is not a Ren-fair. Anyone can participate in the activities of the SCA and are encouraged to do so.
We will also be featuring Wealdsmere’s best of our best as we choose our Champions for the coming year. Championship tournaments include Heavy Armored Combat, Rapier Combat, Target Archery, Arts and Sciences, Culinary, Medieval Games, and Performance Arts.
So come see what the SCA is all about and have a great time camping while you’re at it!
