Vulcanfeldt Yule Feast & Tourney Vulcanfeldt December 4,
2004 Yakima, WA WASSIL!! Tis the season for all good gentles
to be of good cheer. The harvest is in, and the warriors are
home from battle. Now is the time for good food and strong
spirits. So come one, come all to the Vulcanfeldt Shire Yule
Feast and Tourney. Archers, Rapier fighters, and Heavies,
come and test your skills against each other in our Prize
Tournaments. Prizes to be awarded include: one dozen arrows
to the best archer made by HL Leonidas Balsamon, a main
gouche blade donated by the Shire Rapier fighters, a Viking
round top helm to the winner of the heavy tournament donated
by Thegn Sir Rolf Longbow. For those who wish to display
their Arts and Sciences skills an Art/Science Display will be
held, no documentation required, so come and show off your
best works. Site opens at 10:00 a.m., December 4;
Tourney’s to begin at 12:00 noon, Feast at 6:00 p.m. We
are asking that you make a reservation if you will be
attending the feast to insure we have enough food for
everyone. We do not require money up front, only the number
of people in your group who will be attending to enjoy the
wonderful array of foods prepared by the Shire. Please RSVP

Gun Club, 441 Pomona Road, Yakima, WA 98901 (off of Highway
821 and I-82), approximately 2 miles North of Yakima toward
Ellensburg. Event times: Saturday, December 4, opens at 10:00
a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Tourney’s to begin at 12:00
noon, Feast at 6:00 p.m. Site fee: $10.00 for adults,
children 12 and under $5.00, babes in arms free (add $3.00
for non-members). This is a wet site, and as always mundane
laws will apply. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc. –
Shire of Vulcanfeldt. Directions: Take your best route to
Yakima and I-82. North or South on I-82 take exit # 26 and
follow directions toward Selah, WA.
