True Arte of Defense and Calladum Competition
June 27-29
Belle Fountain Park, Benton County
The Shire of Couer du Val

Come all who hunger for the sound of steel on steel, to the
Shire of  Coeur
Du Val as we host a weekend of rapier combat. Join us as we
hold devious
scenarios concocted by the mind of  Monsignore Eagle.
Come see why this event
has been heralded as one of An Tir’s  premiere rapier
events!

Additionally, we shall hold our fourth annual shire Calladum
competition, for
the honor of being calladus/a of our shire. Entrants will
compete in at least
five of eight categories (Arts, Sciences,  scholarship,
bardic, archery,
rapier, heavy and light combat), to be  judged by the
populace of our shire.
For those who do not wish the honor of being Calladum, each
category is its
own competition with a prize to the winner of each!

No need to live in CDV to vie for Calladum. Simply write a
letter of intent
and enter five events . Voted on by the populace . Or just
enter the events
individually for prizes.

Site opens at 3pm and closes at noon on Sunday.  Make
checks payable to the
SCA Ins, Shire of Couer du Val, The site fee is $10 for
members,  $5 for
children to 18, babes in arms free.  Non-member
surcharge of $3.
