Announcing Triumphs of Oriana – November 9th – Beaverton,
Oregon Elizabeth reigns in England! The Bards are gathering
to observe Her Patronage. The Magisters of the Bardic Arts
are traveling to lend their aid. The cooks and servers are
readying their offering of a fully served Feast and Banquet.
The people of the Shire of Dragon’s Mist welcome you to come
treat your eyes and ears in celebration of the Latter Years
of the Current Middle Age! The autocrat for this fine event
is HL Ciaran cluana Ferta. Please contact him at vox@xprt.net
with any questions. The site will open at 9:00 AM, November
9th, at the Kinton Grange, just outside Beaverton, OR. The
feast will begin at 6:30 PM. The competition will begin at
10:00 AM. All are welcome to compete in the following
categories: * Vocal and Instrumental Music (both solo and
group, broken consort open to negotiation) * Drama * Poetry *
Dance * Feast Entertainment (anything not in one of the above
categories). The Feast will consist of three Courses and a
Banquet. The Menu and ingredients list will be available
soon, and will be available onsite. A limited number of
Recipe booklets will also be obtainable the day of the event
for the cost of photocopying. Feast master is Lord Aedan mac

feast is $14.00 Pre-registration may be obtained by the
aforesaid Ciaran: vox@xprt.net Please register for the feast
as soon as possible to help the meal planners. Crash space is
possible. Again, contact Ciaran. DIRECTIONS: From outside of
Portland: Use I-5 to get to either Portland or the Highway
217 exit, then proceed to directions below. From Portland: Go
South on I-5 to Highway 217 and go west. Take the Scholls
Ferry Rd. Exit, turn left, and head southwest just over 5
miles. Around 3.5 miles after leaving the freeway the
landscape becomes rural, but stay your course and remain on
Scholls Ferry Rd. SCA signs will soon appear and shall direct
your course. The Grange Hall is a white building on the
right, just past Tile Flat Rd.
