Incipient Canton of Vingaard (Barony of Borealis): Grande Prairie,
Alberta

Once again harvest battle cries are echoed throughout the valleys,
“STOMP ’em, CRUSH
’em, MAKE THEM WHINE!” Join the Canton of Vingaard for our annual
harvest
celebration which includes the Borealis Silverwolf Championships and the
renowned
“Grape Stomp”. There is day prize competitions for all disciplines of
fighting.

PAID RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR MEALS AND BEDS, SPACE IS
LIMITED
Site fee: $10 The site is wheelchair accessible and has indoor
showers/washrooms.
Meals: $15 before September 8th: -breakfast/lunch/feast on Sat.
(limited to 110);
-continental breakfast on Sun.
$22 after September 8th
No meal plan reservations will be taken after Sept. 22nd

Overnight fee $5 per person per night. (there are 56 beds in heated
cabins -26 top bunks
in heated cabins). Bring your own bedding. There will also be limited
camping space
and crash space for 10 (overnight fee still applies).
(Smalls under 12 free except $5 overnight fee applies)

From the East & North, Follow Highway 43 into Grande Prairie, turn Left
at Hwy
43/Hwy 2 junction. Continue to116 Ave, turn Right. Continue until 100
St, turn Left.
Go South to Hwy 40, continue for approx. 5 km turning Left at the “Camp
Tamarack”
signage. Follow SCA signs.

from the South. Follow Hwy 40 until you see the “Camp Tamarack”
signage, turn Right.
Follow SCA signs.

from the West: Follow Hwy 43 into Grande Prairie, Turn right on highway
40/Wapiti
Road, continue until you see the “Camp Tamarack signage, turn Left.
Follow SCA signs.

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez. Once again harvest battle cries are echoed throughout

‘em, MAKE THEM WHINE!” Join the Canton of Vingaard and Their
Excellencies of Borealis for our annual
harvest celebration which includes the Borealis Silverwolf Armored and
Archery Championships and the
renowned “Grape Stomp”. There will also be day prize competitions for
all disciplines of fighting. His
Excellency has the following requirements for entrants into the
Silverwolf Championships: The Baronial
Champions MUST have or be willing to get a paid SCA membership and live
within the Barony of Borealis.

2:00 – 3:00 PM HEAVY ARMOUR INSPECTION & LIST OPEN
3:00 – 5:00 PM HEAVY CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
5:30 PM SNACKS
6:30 BANQUET
COURT TO FOLLOW FEAST
GRAPE STOMPING TO FOLLOW COURT

Camp Tamarack Camp Ground, not the RV Park!
Follow Hwy 43 to Grande Prairie, turning LEFT at the Hwy 43/Hwy 2
junction. Follow Hwy 43 South/100 St to
116 Ave (just past McDonalds – watch for “Hwy 43 West/Alaska” overhead
sign). At 116 Ave, turn RIGHT.
Follow Hwy 43 to 100 Ave (by Staples). At 100 Ave, CONTINUE HEADING
SOUTH, now following Hwy 40
South/Wapiti Road(108 St) (watch for “Hwy 40 South/Wapiti Road” overhead
sign). Follow Hwy 40 South
through and out of Grande Prairie. Continue south of Grande Prairie
5km, and turn LEFT at “Camp Tamarack”
signage and follow the SCA signs.

From Dawson Creek: enter Grande Prairie on Highway 43 past airport.
Turn right on highway 40/Wapiti Road.
Travel south of Grande Prairie 5km; turn left at Camp Tamarack signage
and follow the SCA signs.
